  • What We’re Looking For:

    We’re looking for passionate and skilled presenters who can offer engaging and educational workshops for our attendees. Specifically, we seek:

    • Unique and Fresh Ideas: While we love traditional crafts, we are also on the lookout for innovative and contemporary workshop ideas that can offer something new and exciting to our community.
    • Updates to Repeat Workshops: If you propose an idea for a workshop you have taught with us in the past, If you propose an idea for a workshop you have taught with us in the past, consider new and exciting ways that you can elevate the attendee experience.
    • Diverse Workshop Topics: We welcome a wide range of crafting and creative subjects, including (but not limited to) sewing, paper crafts, fiber arts, dyeing, DIY projects and business skills for creatives.
    • Engaging Teaching Methods: We value interactive and hands-on teaching styles that encourage participation and creativity among attendees.

    To ensure we have a clear understanding of your workshop and can accurately represent it to our attendees, please follow these instructions when filling out the workshop description section of the proposal form:

    • Overview: Provide a brief summary of the workshop. What is the main objective, and what will participants learn or create? (Ex: In an embroidery workshop, what stitches will you be teaching? If your workshop idea is aimed at inspiring attendees to make for the sake of making...please include that as well.)
    • Project Details: Describe what attendees will be making. Be specific about the final product.
    • Materials Provided: List any materials required and any materials participants need to bring.
    • Skill Level: Indicate the skill level required (e.g., beginner, intermediate, advanced) and any prerequisites.
    • Additional Information: Include any other relevant details that will help us understand and promote your workshop effectively. Mention any special requirements or setup needs for the workshop space.
