July 30 or July 31, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm artist to deliver all their Artwork to the show at the Kent Art Association ("*Location")
Aug 1, Volunteers will will hang and setup the Show
Aug 2, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Friday Artist Reception and Exhibition is open
Join us and invite others to come to this Opening Reception at the *Location. We encourage you to bring refreshments. If you know of additional sponsors or folks who would like to greet visitors, please email k2ypeck@aol.com
Aug 3 through Aug 31, Thursdays - Saturdays 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, and Sundays 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm, show days and hours. Gallery sitting during these times.
Encourage your friends and family to come to the show.
Sep 1, Sunday, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm All unsold artwork must be picked up unless other arrangements have been made.

Contract
The ARTIST and The Sherman Artists Association, Inc. ("SAA") agree to the following pertaining to "the Show" held as described in the above schedule.
1. Warranty
ARTIST hereby warrants that he/she solely created and possesses unencumbered title to the artwork submitted and entered into the Show ("Artworks"), that their descriptions are true and accurate, and that the ARTIST has obtained all necessary licenses, clearances, and/or permissions for the use of all material contained in the Artworks, and that the Artworks in no way contain material that infringes upon the rights of others, including but not limited to material that is an invasion of privacy or publicity rights or that is protected by copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights, or is derivative thereto. ARTIST agrees that all images submitted may be used for publicity of the Show. ARTIST hereby agrees to indemnify and hold The SAA and The Kent Art Association harmless from and against any and all related claims and/or liability.
2. Display and Transportation Responsibilities
Two-dimensional Artwork that is to be hung must have appropriate wire or other pre-approved mounts. Those ARTISTS wishing to display three-dimensional Artwork will be provided pedestals. Those ARTISTS wishing to display jewelry must provide their own secure display case.
All Artworks must be delivered to and removed from the show Location as described in the above Schedule.
Designated volunteers will hang and setup the show.
3. Responsibility for Loss or Damage
ARTIST agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The SAA and The Kent Art Association, its members, volunteers, and employees from and against any and all adjudicated claims and/or liability including but not limited to theft, destruction, damage or loss of any Artworks displayed or stored at the Location, and any injury to third parties arising from flaws, defects or dangerous conditions of, related to or within the Artworks.
The Artist is responsible for their own insurance.
The SAA and The Kent Art Association does not provide insurance or compensation of any kind against fire, theft of or damages to your artwork on display at the Location.
4. Contract Duration and Termination
a) The duration of this contract extends from when the ARTIST makes the entry fee payment through completion of the terms of this contract, unless other arrangements have been made in writing.
b) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Contract, this Contract may be terminated at any time by either the SAA or the ARTIST, by means of written notification of termination from either party to the other.
5. Sale of ARTWORK
a) All Artworks must be for sale.
b) The SAA will sell the Artworks only at the retail price specified in the Submission form by the ARTIST. The SAA handles all aspects of the sale of the Artworks.
c) 30% commission is charged the Artist.
d) All unsold artwork must be picked up according to the schedule above unless other arrangements have been made.
e) Following the close of the Show, any costs and liabilities related to the removal from the Location, as well as personal supervision of such removal from the Location shall be the sole responsibility of the ARTIST.
f) The SAA will receive a commission of 30% of the selling price of the Artwork. Payment to the artist will be within 4 weeks after the end of the show.
6. Entry Fee
The ARTIST agrees to pay SAA an entry fee per Artwork of $20 for members and $35 for non-members via the SAA payment form. If the ARTIST is not a member and wishes to become a member, the ARTIST may pay the membership fee of $30 together with the $20 member entry fee per piece. The entry fee and membership fee must be paid no later than midnight of July 23rd to participate in the August Light Art Show.
