2026 Grant Application
The Fund for Carbon County is our primary grantmaking fund and is open to nonprofits and community organizations serving Carbon County. Overseen by the Foundation's Board of Directors, this unrestricted fund awards competitive grants across the county and in a wide range of funding areas to help address both ongoing and emerging community needs.

Guidelines:
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply. If your organization is not a registered 501(c)(3), please contact us before submitting an application to see if you are eligible.
- The requested funds should support organizations based in Carbon County, or programming or projects that serve Carbon County and its residents.
- The project, program, or activities for which funding is sought should be completed within the 12-month period following the grant award. As part of the grant agreement, the organization should expect to provide a brief follow-up report at the end of the grant period.
- Applicants are strongly encouraged to list other resources, including in-kind support, in their budgets. The Carbon County Community Foundation may fund a project 100%, however, we encourage collaboration and like to see other resources committed.
- It is highly recommended that you watch the Grants Virtual Info Session video (available on the Foundation website) before submitting your application.
