On Wednesday, November 6th at 7:30 (immediatley after seminars) delegates of the Judith T. Lester Institute will meet together in plenary session. During this session, our special guest, Reverend Justin Lester, pastor of Friendship Baptist Church of Vallejo, California will facilitate a discussion on "The Black church: Past, Present and Future."

This session will address the history, strenghs and structure of the black Church in its past; the challenges of the black church in its present; and the needs of the black church fo its future. Delegates are encouraged to bring a laptop or Ipad to fully engage in this disccusion. (Delegates who do not own a laptop or an iPad will still be engaged and are welcomed to attend).
