If the absence is due to Personal Illness/Injury or other Family Emergency:
*the student will have two days to make up assignments for the first day missed and one day per each additional day missed.
*Any exception must be discussed between the parent, teacher and principal.
*Tests or quizzes assigned prior to the absence must be taken the day the student returns unless other arrangements are made with the teacher.
If the absence is due to Pre-Arranged Personal Day:
*All work missed is due on the day the student returns to school unless another timeline has been pre-arranged by the student with the teacher ahead of time.
*All quizzes and tests scheduled for the day the student returns are expected to be completed with the class.
If the absence is Unexcused:
*All assignments missed for an unexcused absence will be given a grade of zero.
*An Unexcused Tardy will result in two demerits for High School and one demerit for Upper Elementary.
*Continued tardies will result in a conference scheduled with the parents.
