NSW UMPIRE ACCREDITATION PROCESS

This form is to be used by NSW Softball Umpires who are looking to either:

• Submit their successful accreditation for Level 1-4 in NSW OR
• Re-accredit their individual umpiring accreditation for Levels 1-8

Please find below what is required in order to complete the process. 

Level 1 NEW Accreditation

• Rules Assessment Result
• Play by the Rules Certificates - Child Protection and Safeguarding & Harassment and Discrimination
• On Diamond Competency Checklist
• Officials Code of Conduct must be completed, signed.
• Working with Children Check Number (If applicable)
• Pay the $16 accreditation fee (fee covers 4 year period)

 Level 2-4 NEW Accreditation

• Officials Code of Conduct must be completed, signed
• Play by the Rules Certificates - Child Protection and Safeguarding & Harassment and Discrimination
• Working with Children Check Number (If applicable)
• Pay the $16 accreditation fee (fee covers 4 year period)

Level 1-8 Re-Accreditation

• Be a registered and financial member of Softball NSW
• Complete the applicable Softball Australia Rules Assessment in the last 2 years
• Officials Code of Conduct must be completed, signed.
• Umpire Activity Log NOTE: Not mandatory for Level 1
• Latest Rules Assessment - in the last 2 years
• Play by the Rules Certificates - Child Protection and Safeguarding & Harassment and Discrimination
• Working with Children Check Number (If applicable)
• Pay the $16 fee (fee covers 4 year period)

Once you have completed the online process, this will be sent to the SNSW Director of Umpiring for approval, once approved then forwarded to Softball Australia for processing and updating your online member profile.
