NSW UMPIRE ACCREDITATION PROCESS

This form is to be used by NSW Softball Umpires who are looking to either:

• Submit their successful accreditation for Level 1-4 in NSW OR
• Re-accredit their individual umpiring accreditation for Levels 1-8

Please find below what is required in order to complete the process. 

Level 1 NEW Accreditation

• Rules Assessment Result
• Confirmation you have completed your Play by the Rules Training
• Details on who completed your On Diamond Competency Checklist
• Acknowledgement of the Softball Australia Code of Conduct
• Working with Children Check Number (If applicable)
• Pay the $16 accreditation fee (fee covers 4 year period)

 Level 2-4 NEW Accreditation

• Acknowledgement of the Softball Australia Code of Conduct
• Confirmation you have completed your Play by the Rules Training
• Working with Children Check Number (If applicable)
• Pay the $16 accreditation fee (fee covers 4 year period)

Level 1-8 Re-Accreditation

• Be a registered and financial member of Softball NSW
• Complete the applicable Softball Australia Rules Assessment in the last 2 years
• Details on the number of bases and plates you have completed in the last 12 months
• Latest Rules Assessment - in the last 2 years
• Confirmation you have completed your Play by the Rules Training
• Working with Children Check Number (If applicable)
• Pay the $16 fee (fee covers 4 year period)

Once you have completed the online process, this will be sent to the SNSW Director of Umpiring for approval, once approved then forwarded to Softball Australia for processing and updating your online member profile.
