Kia Orana and Welcome! 

We are excited to open registrations for the Robotics Club 2026! We are searching for youths who are enthusiastic about science, technology, engineering, art or maths (STEAM) and want to explore these subjects through Robotics! Members will engage in weekly technical challenges, robotics design projects, team building activities, and social media challenges inspired by the FIRST Global Challenge in 2026! 

Please fill in the registration form below. Make sure to provide accurate and complete information in all the required fields.

Eligibilty Criteria: 

1. Must be 13 to 18 years old and enrolled in school
2. Must be enthusiastic about STEAM or Robotics
3. Must abide by our Code of Conduct. Click here to download

No prior Robotics or Tech experience necessary, but you must demonstrate willingness to learn and engage in weekly club sessions. 

Requirements for Travel:

If you are interested in applying to represent the Cook Islands at the FIRST Global Competition in September 2026 you must have the following requirements: 

1. A valid New Zealand Passport, with the Cook Islands stamp, that expires after 30th April 2027, or; 
2. A valid Passport with the Cook Islands Permanent Residency stamp or equivalent; 
3. Attend Weekly Club training sessions; 
4. Complete all assigned projects and tasks; 

Before you begin, make sure you have a scanned copy of your Passport or Birth Certificate ready.
