Stafford Dance Academy (SDA)
2025–2026 School Year Dance Program

Stafford Dance Academy offers a fun and engaging dance program for children ages 2 and up. Classes are open to both boys and girls and provide a welcoming, inclusive environment for all.

SDA’s exclusive curriculum introduces dancers to the fundamentals of ballet, tap, and jazz through a developmentally appropriate blend of terminology, rhythm, technique, and creative movement. We use kid-friendly music, gender-neutral themes, and imaginative props to make learning fun and accessible for every child.

Class Schedule
The 2025–2026 season runs once a week from the week of August 11, 2025, through the week of May 11, 2026.
SDA follows the Cobb and Cherokee County school calendars.
Some Monday classes may still be held on "no school" days. Make-up classes will be offered if necessary.

Performances
Dancers will have opportunities to participate in both a Winter Holiday Show and a Spring Recital, held locally.

Performances are optional but strongly encouraged.
They are counted as class time and factored into the overall tuition.
Tuition is not adjusted if a student does not participate.
An additional fee will be required for performance participation.

"Ballet Buds" Class (Ages 2–3)
Thursday 3:30 PM – 45-minute class

This independent creative movement class is designed just for our tiniest dancers ready to explore the world of dance on their own!💡 Limited to 6 dancers 

This is a drop-off class — dancers should be ready to participate without a grown-up.

Primary Ballet/Tap Combo Classes (Ages 2–5)
Dancers must be potty trained or actively potty training. Students should not yet be enrolled in kindergarten.

50-minute classes that introduce ballet and tap in a fun, creative, and structured way. 💡 Class size limited to 12 dancers.

Elementary 1 Ballet/Tap/Jazz Combo Classes (Ages 5+)
Dancers must be enrolled in kindergarten or higher.

60-minute, high-energy combo classes. Tap and jazz alternate weekly while ballet is consistently trained.💡 Class size limited to 12 dancers.

Elementary 2 Ballet/Tap/Jazz Combo Class (Ages 8+)
75-minute class for experienced dancers with at least 2 years of prior training, or by invitation from Ms. Kim.💡 Class size limited to 10 dancers.

Note: Dancers aged 7 and older can join the Elem/Int Hip Hop class. 

 

Intermediate Dance Classes (11+ or by invitation)
These 45-minute, single-genre classes allow experienced dancers to focus on developing their skills in specific styles. Dancers are encouraged to take multiple genres to stay well-rounded.💡 Class size limited to 8 dancers per genre.

Intermediate level classes will take place on Wednesday.

Note: Dancers enrolled in Intermediate Lyrical must also be enrolled in Intermediate Ballet.

 

Teen Ballet Class (Invite Only)
Monday 4:30 PM – 60-minute class

This class is by invitation only and provides focused ballet technique training for teen dancers.

Fees & Tuition
One-Time Registration Fee: $30 per family
Monthly Tuition:
Primary Ballet/Tap Combo: $60/month
Elementary 1 Ballet/Tap/Jazz Combo: $65/month
Elementary 2 Ballet/Tap/Jazz Combo: $75/month
Single Genre Classes: $45/month per genre

Payments & Billing
Registration fee and August tuition are due by the first class.
Monthly invoices will be emailed via SDA’s PayPal account before the first class day of each month.
Payments are due by the 15th of the month. A $5 per day late fee will apply after that.
Tuition is based on the full school year and split into even monthly installments, not the number of classes per month.
Missed performances or absences will not result in tuition adjustments.
Performances are counted as class time.

We, the undersigned parents/guardians, upon signing this agreement do hereby acknowedge that the activities I have requested my child in my care to participate in may be stressful on the body and carry with them the risk of physical injury.  On behalf of my child as his/her parents and/or legal guardians, I assume the risk and agree that the Stafford Dance Academy shall not be liable in any way for injuries sustained or loss of property during attendance at the dance studio, any of it's related functions, as a participant or an observer on or off of the premises.  Student must be covered by their own family health insurance. 

 

We understand that Stafford Dance Academy from time to time, produces promotional material about it's program.  We understand that as a participant the above mentioned minor may be included in a video or photograph taken at the studio or performance venue.  We hereby grant to Stafford Dance Academy, it's successors, assignees, licenses, sponsors the exclusive right to photograph and/or video participants and further utilize participants name, face, likeness, voice and appearance as part of the program, and in advertising and promoting the program, without reservation or limitation.  This explicitly allows use in any social media campaign or posting, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or the like.  In granting this license, we understand that Stafford Dance Academy is under no obligation to exercise any of its rights, licenses or privileges herein granted by participant. 

 

We understand that tuition is due by the 15th of each month.  We acknowledge that the tuition is a seasonal set fee that is distributed amongst 10 months and is based upon the total number of scheduled classes for the year, and not based upon the actual classes during any given month.  The tuition payments are evenly spread over the year and will remain the same, regardless of the number of scheduled classes during that month.  Performances will be considered a class. Adjustments to tuition will not be considered if your dancer does not pertiticpate in a performance. There will be an additional fee to participate in a performance. I understand the tuition is non-refundable and there is a $5 PER DAY late fee if not received by the 15th of each month.  If your account becomes more that 2 MONTHS delinquent, your student will NOT be permitted to attend further classes, register for holiday camps, or participate in performances, until the account is brought current.  Payments will be collected through invoice sent from the Studio PayPal account.
