Amp Up Arts Classes

What is Amp Up Arts?
Amp Up Arts is a statewide initiative for arts education in PreK-12 grades. We believe that the arts are essential to the development of every student in Alabama and seek to provide arts education in schools that do not have it. With the support of the National Endowment for the Arts & The Alabama State Council on the Arts, Mobile Arts Council became a Collaborative Site for Amp Up Arts in January of 2023. After several professional development workshops, we began our first classes in June 2023 at Chastang-Fournier K-8 School. Our long-term goal is to offer arts education to any school in Mobile County that needs it by connecting schools with teaching-artists and local arts professionals.
