    Health Education and Training Center of Gainesville, Inc. (H.E.A.T.)
    The H.E.A.T. center was founded August 2019. The H.E.A.T. center is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization for minorities within Gainesville, FL. We provide charitable and educational wellness services to the under served community through health education classes, seminars, exercise groups, workshops, and educational newsletters.

    The H.E.A.T center services the community through teaching health education and wellness classes by trained health and wellness coaches that facilitate classes based upon a wellness topic each month. The classes are structured to meet the needs of the community through health education workshops and feedback surveys.

    We are a non-profit 501(c)3 holistic wellness center for low income minorities within the Eastside of Gainesville. We offer the following services for free: wellness planning, cooking classes, nutritional goal setting, group grocery shopping, exercise plans. All of our classes/ courses are streamed live or pre- recorded online! We also have guest speakers that come into class and facilitate health education classes. Classes focus on the following areas: sexual health, community health, mental health, sexual health, physical health, and diabetes/ high blood pressure management, resume writing, career planning, and much more.

    What is Feeding the Hungry Program? 

    The Feeding the Hungry Program is a community driven effort to cultivate a safe space for underserved minoorities of both Gainesville, FL & Jacksonville, FL to encourage health and wellness within our homeless population. The Feeding the Hungry Program is operating under the Health Education and Training Center of Gainesville, Inc, (H.E.A.T.) and is sponsored by Panera Bread,  Publix.  At the Feeding the Hungry the community enjoys free wellness screenings such as; free mental health screenings, yoga/meditation, food, and free hair styling. The event was firsit intoduced to the Jacksonville, FL community at Harvest Ministries from 11- 2pm on Saturdays in June 2022 and has helped over 200 families. This initiative has since expanded to Gainesville, FL to help cultivate a healthier community within the Gainesville, FL population. All proceeds go back to the H.E.A.T. Center of Gainesville, Inc. for the Bags N’ Bagels program that the organization is raising to help the homeless population in housing.

     

  • Vendor Information: 

    Cost: $50.00 Per Booth/Company

    • Vendors must provide their own equipment ie: canopies, tables, chairs etc. We will have extra tables and chairs but not enough for everyone! 

    Booths spaces are limited in space, they are on a first-come-first-served basis. Please be respectful of others! 

    • Vendors do not take more space than is needed.

    • The $50 vendor fee is non-refundable and will be going towards our " Feeding the Hungry Program."

    • No electricity or running water is available.

    • Our event will run from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

    • Set up Time: Vendors can begin set up at 11:00am- 12:00pm. Break down is 3:00 pm. No Early Breakdown, doing so will result in no invitation to participate in our events in the future • Vendors are responsible for leaving the area in the same condition as they found it.

     We reserve the right to censor any booth and deny any vendor!
