Workshop Proposals for Guadalajara 2024
The 52nd Annual NASBR will be held in Guadalajara, Jalisco from 23-26 October 2024 and the local organizing committee and NASBR are calling for workshop proposals. Workshops may be proposed by individuals or groups of up to three organizers. Workshops should provide opportunities for attendees to learn new techniques or approaches that could be useful for understanding the biology of bats, advancing bat conservation and/or advancing appreciation of bats.
Workshop Details
Workshops may occur on Wednesday 23 October (full or half day), during an extended lunch break on Friday 25 October or on Sunday 27 October (full or half day). Please propose a desired time frame when submitting your proposal. The PDs and Local Hosts will do their best to accommodate preferences but final timing and acceptance will depend on balancing space and schedule commitments.
Deadlines and Cost
The submission deadline for workshop proposals is 15 May 2024. Workshop organizers are encouraged to seek out funds that could support participation by presenters or subsidize costs of participation by workshop attendees. If such opportunities are available, please describe these below.
