The SVHE Choirs will begin the fall 2025 semester on Wednesday, September 10. We will meet every Wednesday afternoon from 1:00-2:30 at First Southern Baptist Church in Salina through November 12. The final rehearsal will be on Tuesday, November 18 from 1:00-3:00 at First Covenant Church in Salina, and the concert will be that evening at 6:30 at First Covenant Church. We have three choirs: Kinder Choir (grades K-2), Intermediate Choir (grades 3-6), and Senior Choir (grades 7-12). The first two rehearsals, September 10 and 17, are designated visit days. If your children are unsure about joining choir and would like to check it out for a week or two before you make a decision and pay your fee, just email Sheila DeHaan (lnsdehaan@gmail.com) to let me know that you are planning to visit choir and include the names and grade levels of the children who will be visiting. Fee is $15 for the first child, $10 for the 2nd, and $5 for each additional child. There is a $35 non-member fee per family that are not members of SVHE (if driving further than 60 miles, this fee is waived). You can sign up for an SVHE membership here (membership fee is $30).
All Intermediate and Kinder Choir parents are expected to take a turn helping with the Intermediate and Kinder Choirs.
