The Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) is thrilled to announce our 2nd Annual DEIB conference! This year’s conference will uplift promising practices from DEIB leaders and include facilitated workshops, keynote speakers, community building, and recognition of individuals and teams committed to working in service of students and families. Throughout the day-long conference, participants will be encouraged to consider the theme, Freedom Dreaming. Freedom Dreaming allows us to reimagine and commit to what educational freedom looks like for our students, families, schools and central office staff.

Time: 9:00AM - 4:00PM

During the 2023 DEIB Conference, participants will:
Engage in courageous conversations regarding policy, inequity, and bias in our schools and workspaces. Take away ideas and strategies for re-imagining classrooms and schools when constraints of current structures are re-defined. Learn about examples of current DEIB work being done by central office and district staff. Be able to identify examples of Freedom Dreaming in their own teams, programming and workstreams that are helping to advance equity at the school, district or central level. Have the opportunity to take action toward Freedom Dreaming using what they learned.
