The Oxford University Museum of Natural History holds an internationally-significant collection of natural history specimens and archives in a stunning example of neo-Gothic architecture. It is home to a lively programme of research, teaching and events focused on the sciences of the natural environment.
This visit is an all-day event, organised as a coach trip from Dunmow.

09.00: ERMS Members (Number TBC) board coach at:
Dons Coaches Dunmow Ltd , Parsonage Downs, Gt Dunmow, Essex, CM6 2AT (ERMS Members can park in Dons coach yard)
Transfer to Oxford Natural History Museum in Parks Rd, Oxford OX1 3PW; drop-off: Keble Road, Oxford.
11.30: Self guided tour of Natural History Museum
17.30: Members re-convene in Keble Road
18:00: Board Coach in Keble Road for return to Don’s Coaches
Cost: £20 per person. This is to cover the cost of the coach. Entry to the museum itself is free, although, as with most museums, they would appreciate a small donation.
Food and Drink: This trip does not include any food or drink. There is a cafe in the museum, and lots of other places to eat and drink in Oxford. You may want to bring a picnic.
