I value the feedback if I agree with it, but sometimes I get triggered and angry as I process it.
I ignore it and will rarely invite it, because I know I don’t receive it well.

I'm in a good place with solid Christian teaching, but I'm rarely challenged. I'm in a comfortable place.

I find my work / ministry joy-filled and life-giving. It flows from who I am and not just what I do.
I know God loves me, and I think I am doing what he wants me to do. However, my work / ministry often feels disconnected from my God-given purpose.
I feel like my connection with God is dry and difficult, and my work has little to do with God’s purposes.

Those I disciple consistently look to me for guidance in their life; however, our discipleship conversations take a large amount of time.
I’m not actively discipling people right now because I don’t feel like I’m well equipped to do it or lack the energy/time to do it.

I exercise relational influence by collaborating effectively with others. Those that I influence generally take ownership of their work.
I rely more on my position or title for influence, and expect others under me to respect my guidance and to follow through on their assigned tasks.
When I give out tasks to those under me, I feel like I always have to check behind them to make sure it's done, and done right.

God regularly meets that need for me, so it’s rare for me to be deeply hurt when others don’t see my contributions.
those within my work/ministry context routinely appreciate me, but I do feel hurt when others don’t recognize me.
I often feel overlooked and unappreciated by others. In truth, I sometimes wonder if God cares about the work that I do.

I quickly get clear answers and feel confident that I’m actually hearing God. I know how to test what I hear to ensure it’s God speaking.
I sometimes get clear answers, but my confidence wavers as to whether I’m hearing correctly.
I don’t really expect to hear God speak to my heart. I rely solely on the Bible for guidance.

I know how to listen without judging them. I can build a rhythm to our discussions that leads to consistent transparency, accountability, and personal growth.
I will work to diagnose their problem and give them some helpful advice.
To be honest, people have largely stopped coming to me with their problems. It’s nice not to be burdened.

I recognize what's happening in my heart, and I've developed a set of practices whereby I can meet God in this place of being angry or disappointed.
I usually catch my self before responding poorly; however, I still tend to carry the resentment inside of me.
I routinely snap back in anger. While I eventually apologize, I can stay stressed out over the matter for multiple days.
