Below is a brief description of the Networks being hosted during the 23-24 school year.
Instructional Technology Coaches
The Coaches Network includes individualized training and support for those currently working as a techspert or teacher technology leader at their sites or agencies. Instructional technology coaches are invited to join a monthly call to build a community of tech coaches who help solve challenges together and create personalized teacher training plans at their sites.
Technology Specialists
The Technology Specialist Community is focused on helping technology specialists develop safe and secure technology infrastructure that supports student learning in a digital environment. Technology Specialists are technology directors or those who lead one to one device programs, update infrastructures, or coordinates with other technology experts as the on site specialists. The technology specialists meet monthly (via Zoom) to discuss current trends, changes in major programs, and current challenges.
Art Teachers
The Art Teachers community is for art teachers in JJ spaces creating a place where educators can share important projects and content that is engaging students in their classrooms. The art teachers community meets 4-6 a year via Zoom.
Special Education Coordinators
The Special Education Coordinator Network is designed to be a supportive, peer-led working group for Special Education Coordinators. Coordinators are invited to join a monthly call to build a community that helps solve challenges together and brainstorm solutions that ensure our most vulnerable students get the support they need and are entitled to under IDEA, even while detained or incarcerated.
