We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver/Installation Associate to join our team.

 

Job Overview:

The Driver/Installation Associate plays a vital role in our rental and office management service. This role involves the safe and careful transportation of plants and merchandise, setup and breakdown of displays, interaction with customers, and facilitating sales. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about plants, possess excellent customer service skills, and can thrive in a dynamic environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Safely load plants and materials onto the truck, ensuring that all items are properly secured before departure
• Review delivery tickets prior to departure to verify that all purchased items are accurately accounted for
• Handle plants and materials with care during loading and unloading to avoid any damage
• Coordinate with the delivery dispatcher and manager regarding daily deliveries and their prioritization
• Provide courteous, professional, and friendly customer service
• Assist in other areas of service when no deliveries are scheduled
• Collaborate with the team to meet and exceed sales targets
• Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to the appropriate team members
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the management team

 

Qualifications:

• At least three years of experience as a driver
  Possession of a CDL driver's license and a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience safely operating a company vehicle, such as vans and trucks
• Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field
• Strong passion for plants and a basic understanding of plant care
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
• Capability to stand or be physically active for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move plants and heavy bagged products
• Both full-time and part-time positions are available
