In the Intro to Plumbing program, students will:
- Become familiar with plumbing fittings, fixtures, equipment, systems, and material types.
- Read and interpret basic plumbing-related blueprints and documents to help find and solve typical plumbing issues.
- Explore the basic mechanics and theory behind plumbing systems and observe how plumbing systems go from concept to installation.
- Learn about plumbing specialty systems and their applications.
CLASS LOGISTICS
SCHEDULE: January 21 - February 25, 2026 (Wednesdays)
LOCATION: Virtual (via Zoom) + Field Trip to the Seattle Pipe Trades Education Center on February 18
CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED.
Applications are due January 11, 2025.
Important Note: The MCAWW Board of Education will review all submissions and select participants at the close of the registration period. You are not registered until you receive a notification from MCAWW of your acceptance into the program.
If accepted, your firm will be invoiced for the tuition cost of $250 (Contractor Members).
