Prior to enrolment we need to provide you with certain information.On behalf of the RTO, RecogniSkill is required to provide you, prior to enrolment, information on the following:
Deferral and suspension of studies.
1. Deferral and suspension of studies will only be granted in compassionate or compelling circumstances.
2. When determining whether compassionate or compelling circumstances exist, RecogniSkill considers documentary evidence provided to support the claim, and stores copies of these documents in the student’s file.
3. A retrospective deferment or suspension may be justified if the student was unable to contact RecogniSkill because of a circumstance such as being involved in a car accident.
4. Where a student initiated deferral or suspension of enrolment is granted, RecogniSkill will suspend an enrolment for an agreed period of time - to a maximum of 12 months. If the deferral is required for longer than 12 months, the student’s application will be re-assessed. If the suspension period has expired and the student does not return, the student’s enrolment will be cancelled.Refund and Cancellation of studies.
5. Students who wish to withdraw within six months of their course to transfer to another course will be processed as per RecogniSkill Course Transfer Policy and Procedure.
6. RecogniSkill may also initiate suspension or cancellation of a student’s enrolment on the grounds of misbehaviour of the student or non-payment of fees. Information in the Student Handbook describes the behaviour expected by students, as well as information on plagiarism, collusion and cheating.
7. There will be no refund of the tuition fees after 7 days of enrolment in the specific course. If the student wishes to withdraw before 7 days then the refund can be made by deducting the admission fee of $200.
8. Student need to complete their course within 12 months from the date of enrolment. If the student fails to complete the requirements within this time period, their enrolment will be cancelled and no refund will be provided.
9. If the student is willing to continue their study after 12 months then the student must need to pay re-enrolment fee of $250 and must clear their dues.
