Please submit a maximum of two (2) captivating digital images showcasing your incredible artwork for the show's publicity. The submission deadline is midnight, Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

The artist's personal touch and craftsmanship must be evident in every piece. Each artwork must be a reflection of your unique artistic vision and talent.

If you select a pop-up location, we will let you know later where you will be showing.

The show entry fee for SAA members is $85 for pop up locations and $60 for home studios. If you want to join first, click here. Payment will be due once you receive your acceptance letter before Oct 19, 2026.

The Sherman Library will host an Open Studios Preview Show to get the word out from November 20, 2026 to January 6, 2027, featuring the Open Studio Artwork. Each participant may submit up to two (2) pieces for display and sale. The pieces do not have to be the same images submitted in this form. Dropoff to the Sherman Library is by noon on Thursday, November 19. The Artist Reception is Friday Nov 20, 2026 from 6pm-8pm. Artist pick up artwork on Jan 7, 2026. Additional details regarding the library show will be sent out closer to the event.

  - Submit for Open Studios by midnight, Oct 7, 2026
  - Sign the Artist Agreement which has the terms below and make payment no later than midnight, Oct 19, 2026
  - If the artist is using a pop-up location:
    
    Artworks must be delivered and set up by 4 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2026 (setup start times may vary by location)
    
    Any unsold Artworks must be retrieved from that location on Sunday, December 6, 2026, from 4pm-5pm
  - If the artist is using their studio or another artist's studio, all work must be ready for the show opening at 10 a.m. on December 5, 2026
  - The Artist must be onsite (studio or pop-up) to manage their presentation for the duration of the event.
  - Show Times: 10am - 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, December 5 and 6, 2026.
  - The Sherman Library will host a show from November 20, 2026, to January 6, 2027, featuring the Open Studio Artwork. Each participant may submit up to two (2) pieces for display and sale.
  - The library dropoff is by noon on Thursday, November 19, 2026. The Show will be hung at 1 pm.
  - The Library's Artist Reception is Friday, Nov 20, 2026, 6pm - 8pm
  The ARTIST and Sherman Artists Association, Inc ("SAA") agree to the following pertaining to the Open Studio ("the Show").
  
  1. Warranty
  
  ARTIST hereby warrants that he/she solely created and possesses unencumbered title to the artwork entered into the Show ("Artworks"), that their descriptions are true and accurate, and that the ARTIST has obtained all necessary licenses, clearances, and/or permissions for the use of all material contained in the Artworks, and that the Artworks in no way contain material that infringes upon the rights of others, including but not limited to material that is an invasion of privacy or publicity rights or that is protected by copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights, or is derivative thereto. ARTIST hereby agrees to indemnify and hold SAA and if used, the owner of the pop-up location, harmless from and against any and all related claims and/or liability. ARTIST agrees that all images submitted may be used for publicity of the Show.
  
  2. Display and Transportation Responsibilities
  
  Artworks must be delivered and set up by 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2026 (setup start times may vary by location). Artists must be at the location during show hours on Saturday, December 5, and Sunday, December 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  
  Artwork and displays must be taken down on Sunday, December 6, between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. from the popup location.
  
  3. Responsibility for Loss or Damage
  
  ARTIST agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the SAA and if the artist is using a pop-up location, the owner of the pop-up location, their members, employees, and volunteers from and against any and all adjudicated claims and/or liability including but not limited to theft, destruction, damage or loss of any Artworks displayed or stored at their studio or pop-up location, and any injury to third parties arising from flaws, defects or dangerous conditions of, related to or within the Artworks. The Artist is responsible for their insurance.
  
  4. Sale of ARTWORK
  
  a) The ARTIST will collect all payments for the sale of the Artworks.
  
  b) The ARTIST will retrieve their unsold Artwork from the pop-up location (if used) on Sunday, December 6, between 4pm-6pm.
  
  5. Entry Fee
  
  a) If the ARTIST is a member in good standing, the ARTIST agrees to pay SAA an entry fee of $85 for pop up locations and $60 for home studios no later than Oct 19, 2026.
  
  b) This is a Sherman Artist's Member Open Studio Show.
  
  c) If the ARTIST is not a member and wishes to become a member, the ARTIST may complete the membership form and pay its fee of $45 by clicking here. Once completed, the ARTIST can pay the member entry. The membership fee will be paid no later than midnight of Oct 19, 2026 to participate in the Open Studio.

The ARTIST and Sherman Artists Association, Inc ("SAA") agree to the following pertaining to the Open Studio ("the Show").
