A community shop for Strathpeffer?
This questionnaire seeks your views about a possible new shop in the village. There is no intention to duplicate existing village services. However, it is proposed that this shop will sell a mix of ethically sourced, environmentally friendly, organic and (where possible) fair trade food, household and craft products. It might also provide an opportunity for local artists, producers and suppliers to sell their products. There could be information to support people developing low energy, environmentally friendly, and sustainable lifestyles. Pricing will be competitive and products will have low carbon footprints and produce as little waste as possible. The shop will be run primarily by volunteers but there will probably be a need for a part-time paid managerial post. Opening hours will depend on volunteer availability and the responses to this questionnaire.
