Attendance of Graduation Ceremony

You have a choice of attending a ceremony in Winter (June/August) or Summer (December/February).

All Graduation Ceremonies are held in the evening at the Sydney Haymarket Campus

Not Attending the Graduation Ceremony – Conferral in Absentia

You do not have to attend a ceremony to graduate. You can graduate in absentia but you still need to apply in order to receive your award certificate. Depending upon when you complete your course, your application will be processed to have your award conferred in absentia at a Graduation Ceremony or via one of the Academic Learning and Teaching Committee Dates. Once your award has been conferred, your certificate will be sent to the address you will provide on this form via Registered Post (within Australia) or Courier (Overseas). Postage charges apply.

NOTE: Should you choose to graduate in absentia, you will not be allowed to participate in future graduation ceremonies. You can attend them as ACBI Alumnus.

NOTE: If you wish to self-collect your certificate on campus, please be advised that certificate collection will be available from the front desk on level 5 of the ACBI campus on Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5pm (excluding public holidays).
