Glenorchy City Council (GCC) and Moonah Arts Centre (MAC) are proud to present Moonah Sounds of the World (MSOTW) Concert Series and Harmony Day. These events celebrate traditional and contemporary representations of culture in Tasmania.
We highly encourage communities or individuals representing cultural diasporas to apply.
MAC is an inclusive, welcoming and safe space for everyone. These events are intended for family friendly audiences.
Submissions Close: October 30 at 5pm.
ABOUT THE SERIES:
MSOTW is a series of ticketed shows presented every second Saturday evening from March until May 2024.
The format for each show will be curated and developed by our Cultural Program Officer.
Doors and bar will open 7:30pm and each show commences at 8pm.
Harmony Day is a free daytime community event at MAC showcasing short preformances, workshops, activites and displays.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Performers will be engaged via a partnership agreement with MAC, offering a guaranteed artist fee to perform at a selected event in the series program.
MAC provides professional audio mixing, lighting operation and front of house staff. Limited backline is available on request.
