Mike's Chance Animal Rescue

 

 Thank you for offering to become an adopter for our rescue organization!  To be considered you must:

😺  Be 21 years of age or older for a dog, 19 year of age or older for a cat.

😺 Never abuse any animals.

😺  If you rent your home you must have a consent from your landlord to have a dog.

 

😺  Agree to have a home visit done by one of our volunteers if it is needed.

🐶  Agree to have the dog/cat reside in the home, not outside. 

🐶  Agree to never allow the new dog to be left unattended with young children.

🐶 Agree never abuse an adopted dog/cat and prevent any abuse by others.

Should there be any instance where the dog have not been altered at the time of adoption, the Adopter will have the Dog spayed or neutered, as appropriate, within 90 days of the of the discovery of the fact, or by the age of 10 months if the dog is younger than six months by the date of this Contract.  An adopter can forward evidence of the spaying/neutering to the org in the form of a letter from the veterinarian who performed the surgery or a copy of the veterinarian's bill for the surgery if requested.

An adopter will give the Dog/cat proper food, water, shelter, grooming and veterinary care to maintain the Dog/Cat in good and healthy condition.   An adopter will treat the Dog/cat with kindness and care. 

The animals adopted out of state - transport refund is not available.  Please let us know if for some reason you can not keep your animal.

For dog's adopters: IF YOU RENT OR ARE A ROOMMATE OR CHILD OF THE HOME OWNER, PLEASE PROVIDE THE LANDOWNER’S OR OWNER’S NAME AND A PHONE NUMBER. You must have an approval to have the dog from your landlord, rental agency or a homeowner. We also need to know if there are any restrictions, such as size or breed of the dog, etc. Please provide the below information so that we may contact them.
