Teachers today find it challenging to bring climate and sustainability themes into classrooms. To support schools and teachers in their work, we are launching the inaugural International Conference on Ecosocial Education, organized within the framework of the EUKI project Classroom for life.
The conference is designed for primary and secondary school teachers, students of pedagogical studies and/or teacher education programmes, and other stakeholders from the field of education. The main theme of the conference is “Place-based learning”.
Day one of the conference will take place on 28. September 2023 in an online format and will be open to the international public. Renowned international experts and guest speakers such as Dr May East and European Commission’s Education for Climate Coalition team will join us.
The part of the conference that will be held in English will begin at 9:00 CEST and finish at 13:30 CEST. The masterclasses will be held in two languages (EN/SI).
The conference is free of charge.
