Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between a Voting Member and a Producer Subscriber?
- Voting Members support N2M2L’s mission and have a voice in its governance. For $25/year, you gain official voting rights at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and on any member votes. This level is about shaping the future of N2M2L.
- Producer Subscribers are focused on creative benefits. Subscriptions provide discounts on equipment rentals, workshops, editing suite bookings, and more. Subscribers do not have voting rights.
Can I be both a Voting Member and a Producer Subscriber?
Yes. Many people choose to hold a subscription for the discounts and become a Voting Member to have a say in N2M2L’s direction.
Why did you separate Membership and Subscriptions?
We wanted to make it clearer:
- Membership = governance and voting rights
- Subscriptions = creative perks and discounts
This way, you can choose the option that best fits your relationship with N2M2L.
Do Subscriptions renew automatically?
Subscriptions are annual. You’ll receive a reminder when it’s time to renew.
How do I apply to become a Voting Member?
Fill out the short application form online. All memberships are formally approved by our board (a procedural step), and you’ll be notified once confirmed.
