  • NextabSenior is a proprietary software, hardware, and cellular connectivity platform that enhances the experience of residents while they stay at your facility. It eliminates isolation and boredom by providing an accessible and intuitive platform for video calling friends and family, watching TV, playing games, listening to podcasts, and even being reminded of upcoming events, milestones, or medication dosages.

    NextabSenior consists of four types of accounts:

    • Manager (you): This account type is for the facility administrator or recreational director who oversees and manages the NextabSenior project. Managers have full admin access to manage user accounts, and monitor activity.

    • Operator (nurse): The operator account is for staff members responsible for assisting residents with using the NextabSenior platform. Operators can provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and guide residents in accessing the various features available.

    • Client (resident): The client account is for the residents themselves. Each resident has their own individual client account, which they can use to access the NextabSenior platform. Clients can enjoy the features mentioned earlier, such as video calling, entertainment options, and event reminders.

    • Family/Caretaker: The family account is designed for family members or caregivers of the residents. It allows them to connect with their loved ones and remotely manage certain aspects of the NextabSenior platform, such as adding contacts or scheduling reminders.

  • This feature allows the user (senior) to request a callback from the operator. Call back requests can be viewed through the portal at app.nextab.com or on the dedicated operator tablet.

    Callbacks can either ring on the users device when the operator calls back or the operator can auto-answer the call on the users device.

    Disclaimer: The NextabSenior app serves as a valuable tool for enhancing connectivity and communication among residents, staff, and families. However, it is important to note that our app does not replace the built-in call bell system, which remains the primary method for assistance. Our app is designed to complement the existing system by facilitating communication and community engagement.

  • This feature allows you to enter medication information that will automatically remind the user the medication form (pill/syrup etc), dosage, and time.

  • Dont see the apps you want? You can choose any app in the Google play store to be installed on the client device. You can also create a bookmarked shortcut to any website.
