We have a growing number of schools participating in our educational programs and we reach capacity for many performances throughout the year. Please help us accommodate as many students as possible at each performance by following these guidelines:
Performance Policies and Procedures
- Registrations are not complete until a confirmation email is received.
- Registrations are processed in the order in which they are received. Due to high volume early in our season, confirmations may take up to 2 weeks.
- Please adhere to our grade level recommendations for each performance. Incomplete registration forms will not be processed.
- We do not issue tickets; Seating is general admission and will be determined by order of arrival, accommodations, and at the discretion of the House Manager.
- Teachers and Chaperones: School groups receive 1 adult ticket per every 10 student tickets to accommodate teachers, parents and other adult chaperones. We regret that additional parent tickets are unavailable. Do not bring extra chaperones on the day of the event. Additional seats must be requested in advance. Chaperones must arrive and enter with their school group.
- Performances last for approximately 1 hour, unless otherwise noted.
- Please make every effort to arrive at WAC 30 minutes prior to the performance start time.
- Performance reminders are emailed approximately two weeks before your performance. Reminder includes the number of seats reserved, the date and time of the performance.
New! Substitute Teacher Subsidy for NORTH - Walton Arts Center is pleased to offer grades 5-12 teachers a $100 subsidy to offest the costs of hiring a substitute to cover classes on field trip days.This season, the subsidy is available to any teacher bringing students to the April 29-30 production of NORTH.
J.B. Hunt Bussing Subsidy - The J.B. Hunt Transportation Inc. Bussing Subsidy helps schools attend Walton Arts Center events by supporting a portion of bussing costs. The amount awarded is based on each school’s distance from the venue and how many students participate. Subsidy payments are calculated in May and paid to qualifying schools by August 30 of the following academic year.

Accommodations
To provide your students the best, live-theatre experience, please notate accommodations in the appropriate fields below. A Quiet Sensory Space is provided during Classroom Series shows for anyone who may need it. ASL- 2 weeks' notice is needed to request an ASL interpreter be provided by Walton Arts Center.
