- Currently our space and groups are only equipped for high functioning children that need extra help in the areas of social skills. These are kids with OR without high functioning diagnoses (Level 1 ASD, ADHD, social communication disorder) that can speak, interact and communicate but struggle with topic maintenance and expansion, making or keeping friends, relating to peers, appear inappropriate in conversations, struggle with self regulation, think in “black and white”. We hope to one day be able to provide social groups for other children that need more assistance than this. This is our future plans so not to leave anyone out.
- Our groups are for SOCIAL skills, meaning if your child is in need of behavioral support, we will need to refer you to a group that can provide that behavioral support. We will be focusing on social aspects and redirectable social behaviors only. If your child struggles behaviorally with escalated or physical outbursts, can not follow directions, struggles with transition to a point where it is difficult to interact in the activities, or struggles with oppositional behaviors, we can provide you with some referrals to better suit your child’s needs.
- Please note that if your child needs more assistance than we can provide, we will need to refer your child to a practice with groups more suited for your child’s individual needs for the best of your child’s developmental success. No refunds can be issued for the month when this is the case.
Tuition will be billed monthly on the last business day of the previous month. For example, for October’s tuition, your payment will be withdrawn in the method that you selected on the 30th of September for October’s tuition. Payment of your first Social Group invoice will secure your child's spot in group. You will receive an invoice 1-2 days after completion of this form for September's tuition. Groups will begin the week of September 4th.
- If you no longer wish to be enrolled in social groups, we require a week’s notice so that we can notify someone on the waiting list that they have a space. No refunds can be given if a student is withdrawn before the end of the month.
- Each group must have a minumum of 4 students enroll for that group to begin. We will refund deposits made for groups that do not fill.
