  • STUDENT POLICY

  • In order to create and maintain an environment that is supportive and non-threatening for our students, teachers, and employees, we require all students to read, acknowledge receipt of, and agree to the following:

    ALCOHOL, DRUGS, TOBACCO: The use of alcohol, tobacco products, or drugs (other than those prescribed by a licensed physician for theElevate Adult Education property or on the property of those entities that provide space for classes.

    WEAPONS: No firearms, knives, or other weapons are permitted anywhere within the premises of Elevate Adult Education or on the property of those entities that provide space for classes.

    BEHAVIOR: Any disruptions in class, including but not limited to: non-emergency cell-phone usage, tardiness, offensive language, and any other behavior that interferes with the learning environment will not be tolerated.

    REFUND:    Class fees are typically non-refundable after the first day of classes.  Any exception is/will be on a case-by-case basis and at the sole discretion of the Elevate Adult Education Executive Director.

    A student with a behavior violation will be asked to leave the premises without a refund.

     

    Con el fin de crear y mantener un ambiente que es de apoyo y no amenazante para nuestros estudiantes, profesores y empleados, se requiere a todos los estudiantes a leer, acusar recibo de, y adherirse a lo siguiente:
    ALCOHOL, DROGAS, TABACO: El uso de alcohol, tabaco o drogas (excepto los recetados por un médico con licencia para el tratamiento de una enfermedad o discapacidad), no está permitido en cualquier parte de Elevate Adult Education de propiedad o en la propiedad de aquellas entidades que proporcionan espacio para las clases.
    ARMAS: No pistolas, cuchillos u otras armas se permiten en cualquier lugar dentro de las instalaciones de Elevate Adult Education o en la propiedad de esas entidades que proporcionan espacio para las clases.
    COMPORTAMIENTO: Cualquier interrupción de la clase, incluyendo pero no limitado a: teléfonos celulares o el uso de papel no sea de emergencia, tardanzas, falta de asistencia, lenguaje obsceno u ofensivo, y cualquier otra conducta.
    REEMBOLSO: Las tarifas de clase generalmente no son reembolsables.  Cualquier excepción es caso por caso y solamente a la discreción del director ejecutivo de Elevate Adult Education.
    Se le pedirá a un estudiante con una infracción de comportamiento que abandone el sitio sin reembolso.

  • I hereby give permission to Elevate Adult Education to take pictures and use in any traditional social media advertising and publicizing our programs and staff training. I understand and acknowledge that such items are and will remain the sole property of Elevate Adult Education.

     

    Yo doy mi permiso a Elevate Adult Education para tomar fotos y uso en los tradicionales medios de comunicación social y dar a conocer nuestros programas y capacitación del personal. Entiendo y reconozco que tales artículos son y seguirán siendo propiedad exclusiva de las Elevate Adult Education.
