Best Food and Beverage Award

Summary

This Award recognises a great food and beverage offer whether it is served in a cafe, kiosk or restaurant.

Judges will be looking for a clean, welcoming space, well thought out menu, sustainable practices, excellent customer service and, where appropriate, sales growth. 

Entrants will go through a rigorous judging process to find the winner and runner-up who will be announced at the glittering NFAN Awards Gala Dinner in January 2024. 

As well as being able to display the winner's certificate, taking the accolade provides a wealth of PR and press opportunities for the business. 

 

Judging

Judges will be looking for the food and beverage offer which can demonstrate a good customer journey, well planned menu, pleasant clean space and great customer service. 

The judging panel will also check your attraction website and review pages. 

Entry submissions will be judged by a panel including an industry expert and former category winners. 

Initial judging will review submissions to draw up a shortlist of finalist. 

Final judging will be done by an anonymous judge's site visit. 

The winner and runner-up will be announced at the 2024 NFAN Awards Gala Dinner in January. 

In no more than 500 words describe your food and beverage business in the space below, outlining what makes it stand out from the crowd. 

this can include a good customer journey, a well thought out menu, any specials or seasonal offerings, catering for special diets, good staff training with knowledge of the menu, cleanliness, sustainable practices and, where appropriate, sales growth.   

 

Attach up to 10 photographs relevant to your entry. 

Photographs need to be high resolution and in a jpg or png format. 

Any credits must be clearly marked. 

Please include a short 30 second video outlining why your attraction deserves to win this award. Please include the entrance and signage as well as any members of your team. 

The video can be filmed on a smartphone or tablet, preferably in landscape and sent via a YouTube, Vimeo link or WeTransfer. 

Please note: If your entry is shortlisted, this video will be shown at the Awards Gala Dinner in January.
