From the dates below many working parents of children currently are or will be entitled to funding:

    From September 2025:
All children over 9 Months of age of working parents will be entitled to upto 30 hours of funding per week

The government provide the funding based on term time only over 38 weeks of the year, so in total up 570 (15 hours x38) hours or 1140 (30 hours x38) funded hours per annum.

We offer both the Funded 15 hours and Funded 30 hours on a “stretched basis” over 51 weeks, therefore giving families access to funded hours spread equally throughout the year and invoiced at the same amount each month.

On a “stretched basis” the Universal 15 hours will be given as 11.18 hours per week on our stretched funding over 51 weeks.

For children entitled to the Funded 30 hours this will be given as 22.35 hours per week on our stretched funding over 51 weeks.

Part day sessions are not available with funding.

    The Government State to nurseries:
“You should use government funding (FEEE) to provide high-quality, flexible early education and childcare. You shouldn’t use this funding to cover the cost of consumable items, such as drinks, meals, or additional services, such as baby yoga, French lessons, music lessons and trips.”

We offer two funded packages at Nursery Rhymes, these are our Gold Package which includes our enhanced provision “care package - essentials & extras” weekly charge to cover the above items that are not covered by the funding.

Our Basic Package is available for those not wanting to opt in to our enhanced Gold Package and will not benefit from our enhanced povision of home cooked freshly prepared meals or any of the other additional services and enhanced learning activities that the basic eyfs funding does not cover. Our basic package is based on a limited 2 days per week. Weekly sessions booked on our basic package option will only be confirmed at the beginning of each term.

Our care package price and non funded fees may be reviewed and are subject to change. Parents will receive at least 30 days’ notice of any increase via letter or email.

Universal Credit (UC) can not be used against the care pacakge costs.

We operate an equality and inclusion policy and ensure that all children have access to nursery places and services irrespective of their gender, race, disability, religion or belief or sexual orientation of parent(s).

Our main demand is for full time or full day – all year round places and our business model, staffing commitments and facilities are all set-up to meet this demand. For business sustainability purposes we have to manage our allocation of places to ensure, where possible, that the take-up of nursery sessions is consistent across all days and all year round.

Applications for full-time places may need to be allocated before those for part-time places.

By selecting our enhanced all inclusive Gold Package you are agreeing to opt in to our enhanced provision charges that enables your child to enjoy healthy freshly cooked meals, all consumables incl nappies & wipes, all enhanced activities and learning experiences (examples incl. forest school, french, dance, yoga, trips etc) that are not covered by the basic eyfs government funding.
