Thank you very much for your interest in the National Communication Association children’s program (Camp NCA). Our goal is to provide your children with a program they want to attend, while providing you with that critical “peace of mind” feeling so you can attend the conference's meetings and activities.
Kiddie Keepers is pleased to provide onsite childcare during the 109th Annual NCA Convention. The program is available for NCA convention attendees only. Since 2014, Kiddie Keepers has been providing childcare for weddings, conferences, conventions, corporate and social events around the United States.
ACTIVITIES
Activities include exciting themes, arts & crafts, group games, music & movement, board games, story time, dramatic play, etc. We provide activities appropriate for each age group, using safe and sturdy equipment.
COMMITMENT
Our goal is to provide your children with a comfortable, safe, and happy experience. Ratios of staff to children are 1:2 for newborn through 11 months old, 1:3 for 1 through 2 years old, 1:5 for 3 through 5 years old, and 1:7 for 6 through 14 years old.
Our team members are selected according to their integrity, experience, education, and enthusiasm. They must be wonderful with kids! In addition to our selective and competitive hiring process. We are licensed and insured.
WHERE, WHEN, FOR WHOM
The program is available for NCA convention attendees children up to 14 years old. The dates for the program are November 16 -18, 2023, and will be located in National Harbor, MD, at the National Resort & Gaylord Convention Center.
Camp NCA is open:
8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Thursday, Nov 16 — Saturday, Nov. 18.
Before and after care hours are 7:00-8:00 AM and 5:00-10:00 PM (additional
fees apply)
RATES
The cost for the children's program is as follows:
Daily Rates*
Full Day: $135 (4.5 hours or more)
Half Day: $65 (4 hours per day during the following time frames: 8:00 AM-
noon & 1:00-5:00 PM)
Before/After Care Special Conference Rate: $12/hr per child
REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Pre-register and make payment by Oct. 20 to ensure your child has a space. Pre-
registering will help Kiddie Keepers provide proper staffing and planning of age-appropriate activities. Kiddie Keepers will make every effort to accommodate on-site registrations; however, there is no guarantee, and it is not recommended.
To ensure a safe and fun-filled environment, any child who is ill will not be admitted to the children's program.
-Kiddie Keepers staff does not administer medication.
-Please label your child's belongings. We will maintain a lost and found, however, Kiddie Keepers does not accept responsibility for the loss or theft of any toy, book, or other personal items.
-Common surfaces, toys, and equipment will be disinfected frequently throughout the day.
-For parents with infants, please bring diaper changing supplies, formula/baby food, and a change of clothes.
