Completing this test is Step One of your Responsible Dog Owner Application.

This online test of your dog knowledge will show us that you understand your responsibilities as a dog owner. All questions are multiple choice and we’ve provided links to documents that will help answer the questions in each section if you need help with the answer.

Once you have completed this test, please continue to Step Two which is completing the application form and payment online. This must be completed within a month of completing the test.
- We collect the following personal information as part of this test:
  - Your name
  - Your address
  We collect this information so we can match your test submission with your Responsible Dog Owner application form. Completing this test is required as part of your application.
  
  We use Jotform to collect your test submission. Your submission will be stored in Jotform in accordance with the Jotform Privacy Policy for 12 months before being automatically deleted.
  
  A copy of your test submission will be stored permanently by Hutt City Council as part of your Responsible Dog Owner file.
