Four Saturday evenings  dinner parties: Nov. 8, Jan. 17, Mar. 7 and May 16.

Circle Suppers are a great way to meet other church members in a relaxed home setting. Each of four dinners includes a different mix of up to eight participants. The responsibilities of hosting and serving appetizers, cooking the main dish, bringing a salad, and providing dessert are rotated for each dinner.

Circle Suppers are open to all adult church members and friends. Single participants are welcome to attend individually, to pair up with another single church member for each dinner, sharing responsibility for hosting and bringing an assigned element to the events, or to participate with a friend who is not a member of the church to do the same. If you sign up together (couples, partners or friends), you will attend every event together.

The Coordinator does not pair singles to share responsibilities. If you are pairing up, the single who is hosting should be listed under Your name and the other person should be listed under Second person’s name.

Registration deadline is September 28. A schedule for the year will be sent in October.

  • There are several ways to participate: Hosting, hosting and attending, attending only, and being a substitute host and/or guest. Please host if possible. The number of hosts will determine the number and size of groups. Hosting does not require a sit-down dinner; buffets and casual seating are fine. If you are unable to host, it’s possible you may not be included at every supper. However, we also need substitutes for attending and for hosting, so if you aren’t sure that you can commit to specific dates, please sign up as substitutes.

  • Allergies

Please note: If you place limitations on what you eat, you are more likely to see some of the same people at suppers. If you have a number of restrictions (i.e. vegan) or prefer not to eat a common ingredient (flour, onion, egg, etc.), you may want to supply your own food when you participate or just avoid eating some dishes served. List only an allergy that makes you very sick. Do not list foods you prefer not to eat or that cause you mild distress.
