The first 20 schools to complete this form are guaranteed participation.

1. Register your production now with this form to reserve your place. 
2. A link to the Cast Nomination form will be emailed to you automatically once you register. It comes from noreply@formresponse.com. Keep that email where you can find it. You will nominate individual cast members in eligible roles on that form once you have cast your show.
3. Your show will be counted as fully registered as soon as we have your completed Production Registration and Cast Nomination forms.
4. If you have a copy of your signed licensing agreement, you can upload it below or email it to us later.
5. You can register for either one or two casts of the same show, but the casts must perform as distinct units in separate performances. If you mix and match casts, we cannot guartantee that we can schedule adjudicators to see all cast members, which could affect their eligibility for our awards.
6. Pay for your registration with a credit card now or indicate how you will pay for the registration later.
7. Nominated students are required to register at no cost to them. Student registration forms are sent directly to your students once you nominate them on the Cast Nomination form.

The 2024 Enchantment Awards will be held Sunday, May 5, in Popejoy Hall. The deadline to adjudicate your show is April 13, 2024.

All shows must be on the approved list published by the Jimmy Awards.

Retention of Rental Materials

Please inform the royalty company who granted you the rights for your musical that you are participating in a regional awards program for the Jimmy Awards. Ask to retain your rental materials so that you have music if you are chosen as a finalist for one of our three production awards and get to perform during the Enchantment Awards. Typically, they will grant that permission.

Each eligible cast member must have scores from three different judges. We will assign a unique set of judges for each cast's performances. If you intermix cast members, that affects the eligibility of nominated students, since we cannot then guarantee that we will have three scores for each nominated student.

Directors Choice Chorus (DCC) Nominations

We will request your DCC nominations after we announce the nominees for all awards in mid-April. We will send you a separate form for those nominations.

Interns

We have intern positions available for your students: assistant stage manager (2), production assistants (2), lighting intern, sound intern, and costume intern. They join the production at the first rehearsal and work with our professional staff as well as the Popejoy staff.

You can nominate students to those positions. They will receive an email letting them know you have nominated them and asking them to apply.

The Jimmy Awards sets the criteria for eligibility for Best Actor and Best Actress nominees. We set the criteria for eligibility for Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress nominees.
