Introduction
When we begin to expose to the “various postures”, we repeatedly learn to perform the yogasana which seem to be a vast subject. However, the practice time on a mat also serves a process of bringing us closer in understanding our body, its structure with condition, having limitations and imbalances. And as we progress, our practice should draw us inward. While attempting the asana, a directed action or movement will serve as an imprint for the muscular body. One who could sensibly experience the effect of the movement within the asana, will understand the potential of the asanas and how to develop a practice for individual needs.
Beyond the Basic course aim to guide and reconnect the missing link(s) of action and reaction as well as how and when to create resistance while engaging the body when attempting the asanas. This way of exploration will help student in channeling the right effort while practicing and learning. And thereafter gaining clarity in action and finding a better balance in the body, breath and mind.
