    As part of NSW Smart and Skilled Scholarship program, you are entitled to funding support. Please answer the following questions which will ascertain your funding. Your Wesley Consultant will process your application and advise of your Scholarship entitlements, and out-of-pocket student co-contribution.

    Our responsibility and support

    Wesley Training offer support and reasonable adjustments to students with a variety of conditions or special needs. 

    The NSW Government via NSW Smart and Skilled provide additional subsidies and concessions to assist students successfully complete their studies. 

    While Wesley offer support services and reasonable adjustments,  students are also assured of their confidentiality and privacy if this is your preference.

    Wesley has a dedicated mentor with Cert IV in Mental Health available to offer support to students if required.

    This service is here for you.  Wesley is sensitive to the needs of our students and you will be invited to reach out, but not required to do so.

    Your responsiblities

    Please describe your condition below. 

    We expect, should you have a condition, you continue to manage your treatment alongside your study program with the assistance of Wesley mentors as required. 

    Government Subsidy

    To receive Government subsidy in support of your condition, you will need to provide evidence before study commencement via:

    • Disability support pension or Disability Card OR
    • Supporting letter or statement addressing your need, from:
      • A medical professional (such as family GP or specialist)
      • Allied health professional
        • including psychologist, physiotherapist, rehab counsellor, speech pathologist, occupational therapist etc
      • Government agency, such as Vet Affairs, Centrelink, NSW Tafe counsellor, Job Capacity Assessor, Special Education Counsellor, School Counsellor

  • After completion of this registration Form, your details will be submitted to the NSW Smart and Skills register and your subsidy offer will be sent to you based on your personal circumstances.  By completing this form, you acknowledge reading and agreeing to the terms setout in the Wesley Student Handbook HERE

  • ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

    I declare that all details are accurate and true. I understand that the NSW Government is offering SUBSIDISED or FEE FREE funding for BSB30120 Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical).  After completion of this form, NSW Department will issue Wesley with a Final Subsidy Quotation for your acceptance. Acceptance and participation in the first unit within 21 days, will secure your position within the Scholarship.

    In applying for this funding opportunity, I acknowledge reading and agreeing to the terms and conditions set out in the Student Handbook, and in particular the minimum study requirements to keep the funding status. This would be regular study, and question answering at least every month.  An aim of at least a unit of competency per month is recommended.  A lack of progress and engagement may result in the termination of the Funding contract. 

    I consent to allow Wesley Institute of Training to provide the NSW Government and its subsidiaries with my personal information in order to obtain approval for this funding.

    Any information about my education, studies and results from previous or current study will be released for the purpose of determining eligibility for government funding.

  • Smart and Skilled Funding Brief

    Smart and Skilled is a NSW Government program that helps people get qualifications in in-demand skills and industries. It’s a key part of the NSW vocational education and training system.  Smart and Skilled provides government-subsidised training and higher-level courses to help you get skills to find a job and advance your career.

    The scholarship opportunity is designed to help fund Upskilling and Training for NSW residents by:

    Re-skill or up-skill and transition to a new career;

    • Gain skills they need to undertake a new role with their current employer;
    • Gain an entry level qualification to transition into the Health Employment sector in Australia

     

     

    Wesley Institute of Training has been chosen by the NSW Government - to deliver the Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical) BSB30120.  This qualification is a considered the preferred Entry Level Qualification to begin a career for all areas of Health Administration in Australia. Wesley has been delivering training for industry, by industry, for over 20 years and our reputation for delivering excellent, relevant and industry recognised training is second to none. 

    Do I need to contribute to the cost of training?

    For 2024, the NSW Subsidised training in NSW is either FEE FREE or heavily subsidised depending on your circumstance.
