  • An Alberta hunting license applicationrequires the following information:

    Southern Prairie Outfitters takes care of all your license applications and purchasing, simply fill out the below information, and we will do the rest.
  • Please Read The Southern Prairie Outfitters Terms & Conditions & Liability Waiver:

    • Trip Description, Products and Services Included and All Conditions 
    • Southern Prairie Outfitters will provide a 3 day guided waterfowl hunt in Alberta Canada. This hunt will consist of 3 morning hunts and 2 afternoon hunts. Southern Prairie Outfitters does not guarantee any amount of success.

       

      Hunters will be fully responsible for their personal belongings at all times before, during, and after the hunt.

       

      Included in the price are the following, meals and accommodations from the evening before the first day of the hunt until noon on the last day of the hunt, waterfowl hunting guide, decoys, blinds, shotgun shells (12 gauge, 3 inch only), hunting license, bird cleaning service and all applicable taxes. Hunters will be responsible for providing anything beyond the aforementioned.

       

      Hunt requires a 50% non-refundable deposit upon booking and the remaining balance must be paid in full by August 1. Deposits and final payments are non refundable for any reason including but not limited to Acts of God, Natural Disasters, Force Majeure, Riots, Wars, Pandemics, Government Regulations and Restrictions.

       

      Southern Prairie Outfitters is not responsible for any return of funds or compensation for any reason falling under the above terms. Southern Prairie Outfitters reserves the right to cancel this contract at anytime upon full refund.

       

      Deposit = $1625.00 US
      Remainder Due August 1st = $1625.00 US
      Total Hunt Cost = $3250.00 US

    • What to bring:


      • Warm hunting clothing including hat and gloves- make sure to bring several types of clothing for both moderate weather and cold weather
      • Waterproof boots we suggest a knee boot or some sort of a boot that will keep your foot dry in a muddy, wet situation
      • Blind bag for storage of snacks and other gear you might need including shotgun shells
      • Hearing protection
      • Face mask or gaiter for warmth in cold windy situations
      • Headlamp or flashlight for setting up. We are setting decoys in the dark most days and this will aid in helping making it much easier


      Arrival and Departure:


      • Arrive at the airport the afternoon before your first hunting day
      • Pick up your rental car and drive to camp. We recommend an SUV or a truck. You will be driving in fields and in rural areas along dirt roads.
      • The evening you arrive we will meet for introductions, supper, and a brief meeting which will cover all of the important details of your trip. Call us if other arrangements need to be arranged.
      • Have the hunt of a lifetime for the next few days
      • Depart for the airport after lunch on your last hunting day
