Art Lives Here (ALH) is a bilingual, collaborative program between the Denver Art Museum and Title 1 Schools, Community centers & other sites serving Title 1 neighborhoods through a customizable exhibition of museum objects installed in your school or community center. Kids, families, and educators can use the installation to bring programming to life and reinforce organizational values, spark intercultural dialogue and empathy, and build community through shared experience.
ALH relies on a collaborative planning and implementation process between staff from your site and the DAM team. Before continuing the application, please confrm that you have reviewed and agree to the following program requirements:
- My school is Title 1 / My community center serves a Title 1 neighborhood
- An identifed Champion on staff (teacher, programmer, family liaison, etc.) to be the main point of contact and coordinate logistics for the site.
- 1 hour planning meeting
- 45 mins of post-installation debrief/feedback
