Grayhaven plays an important role in central Virginia by:
- Providing a beautiful, welcoming escape for visitors;
- Facilitating meaningful connections and deep conversations between people of different ages, cultures, backgrounds and professions;
- Preserving healthy greenspace with innovative, minimally invasive land stewardship;
- Maintaining, restoring and sharing history;
- Providing flexible jobs and demonstrating progressive work and compensation models for wineries and local businesses;
- Championing the causes of small farms and farm wineries in county, state and federal government; and
- Promoting love for learning, reverence for nature, and joyful curiosity for the ideas and experiences of others.
