For the purpose of this policy, a “Volunteer” means anyone over the age of 18 who willingly gives their time to assist the Fernbrook Elementary School PTO in an unpaid capacity.
Parent/caregiver and community volunteers form a valuable part of our community. We are so very thankful for everyone who reaches out to volunteer and assist the PTO with giving our students a fantastic educational experience.
The nature of volunteer work at Fernbrook, often involving communication and interaction with children, means that there are a range of responsibilities and duties that must be understood and adhered to by volunteers.
