• Pritzker Military Museum & Library Group Tours

    Please review the group tour guidelines and policies below before continuing with this form to submit your request to visit the Pritzker Military Museum & Library.

    Join our education team for a 45-minute guided tour through our current exhibition. At the end of the tour, guests are welcome to return to the exhibit to explore in further detail and revisit areas of interest. 

    • General admission is included with each tour ticket; $75 minimum ($60 for a museum member registered group).
    • Group size not to exceed 20 guests; please contact us at education@pritzkermilitary.org for larger groups. 

    Adults: $15

    Seniors (ages 65+), Teachers, & Students (must have valid ID): $13

    Members: $7 for the number of guests covered by your membership level

    Active Military & First Responders: $7

    Ages 5-12: $7

    Ages 0-4: Complimentary

    • Tours are available Tuesday through Friday from 10 am-3 pm depending on staff availability.
    • We recommend scheduling tours one week in advance for the museum to best accommodate your date and time requests.
    • Short notice requests will also be considered.
    • Your tour invoice will arrive via email once the Pritzker Military Museum & Library verifies your requested date and time.
    • You will receive a confirmation email once we have received your minimum tour payment.
    • If you need to change the number of guests, please email us for an updated invoice. 
    • Invoice payment may be made in advance online, by phone, or in person at the 2nd floor Admissions Desk.
    • Full payment must be received before your tour begins.

  • Museum Guidelines

  • To best enjoy your trip to the Pritzker Military Museum & Library, please review these guidelines before your arrival. We look forward to spending time with your group!

    • Plan to arrive 10 minutes in advance of your start time.
    • The tour minimum must be paid no less than 72 hours in advance to secure your reservation. Full payment must be received before your tour begins.
    • All guests are required to adhere to the Pritzker Military Museum & Library guidelines listed in this document. If anyone in your group violates these terms, does not follow staff instruction, or is disruptive or disrespectful of staff or other groups in the museum, the tour will stop, and the group may be asked to leave without refund.
    • Please refrain from cell phone use, long side conversations, or any other activities that would distract you from engaging with the tour guide or people under your care.
    • No food or drink is allowed in the gallery spaces.
    • Photography is welcome! However, please do not use a camera flash as the intense light can damage artifacts over time. Please be aware of any signs prohibiting photography in a specific location.

     

    Cancellations

    You will receive a full refund if you cancel your tour more than 72 hours in advance of your scheduled tour start time or if PMML cancels the requested tour. Refunds will be made in the same form of payment as received. Checks will be issued within 2-3 weeks to the same name and address on the check payment.If you need to reschedule a tour, we must be notified no less than 24 hours in advance with your new requested date and time. A rescheduled tour must be completed within 90 days. Please note: a new exhibit may be featured on your rescheduled date, and we cannot guarantee availability to accommodate your group within the 90-day time period.

     

    If a group is running late for their confirmed tour time, please call the museum as soon as possible. We cannot provide a full tour for groups running more than 15 minutes late. If a group fails to phone or arrives at the admissions desk beyond 15 minutes after their scheduled tour time, they forfeit their tour, and no refund or credit for rescheduling is offered.

    • The Museum & Library has a small gift shop on the second floor.
    • A coat rack is available near the Admissions Desk; we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

     

    Group Drop-Off

    Guests arriving in busses should be dropped off beside our building on the south side of Monroe Ave. You may enter the building through our entrances on either Monroe or Michigan Ave. Notify the first floor Security Desk of your group's arrival and take the elevators to the second floor to check in at the Admissions Desk.

    Parking

    Members at the Honor Level and above receive a $5 off validation for parking at Millienium Garages. The closest garages to the museum are the Millennium Park Garage, Grant Park North Garage, and Grant Park South Garage. Please ask for a validation ticket at the Admissions Desk.

    Accessibility

    All floors of the museum are wheelchair accessible with accessible restrooms. No wheelchair escorts are available. A sighted companion is recommended for blind guests or guests with low vision. Only service animals are permitted; other animals are not allowed. There is limited seating within the gallery space.
