I appreciate your fully honesty, Not only for my safety as someone with an immune system disease but also for the safety of clients that come in after you, my family, and all those that may come into my circle of contact. This is not only to evaluate potential risk for COVID-19 spread but also RSV, Flu, and other contagious events in a close working environment.  By working together to keep each other safe; we keep a healthier community! It is against State Board regulations to perform services on any patrons suspected to be suffering from any communicable or infectious disease. You hereby attest that: ✅ You are symptom-free You (and anyone in your household) have not had any new or unusual symptoms in the last 5 days, including fever, sore throat, cough, runny/stuffy nose, rash, body aches, shortness of breath, or stomach upset. (Note: Allergy symptoms can mask early illness, please be cautious.) ✅ You have not had a recent contagious illness You have not been diagnosed with COVID-19, Flu, RSV, Strep, or any other contagious illness in the past 7 days, OR you have fully recovered and meet public health return guidelines: At least 24 hours fever-free without medication Symptoms are noticeably improving Willing to wear a well-fitting mask for 5 days after returning ✅ You have not had concerning close contact Other than care professionals working in patient care while taking PPE measures, you have not had close contact in the past 7 days with someone sick or testing positive for a contagious illness, unless you are symptom-free and willing to mask during your appointment. ✅ You have not had high-risk travel You have not traveled to an area with active outbreak warnings in the last 14 days without following masking/testing precautions. ✅ You or household have not had recent lice No one in your household has been treated for or diagnosed with lice in the last 10 days unless medically cleared to return to work/school. ✅ You understand vaccination recommendations(Recommended, not required) You understand that staying up-to-date on seasonal vaccines (COVID-19, flu, and RSV where advised) helps protect vulnerable people in our community and that decisions to not get vaccinated require higher precautions and safety to avoid spread/exposure. /

    First, let's get some basic FAQ out of the way!

    How to arrive?

    • Unless otherwise discussed you should be arriving with your hair clean, dry, unbound (no buns/ponytails/braids) in your typical day 1-4 style so I can work with your hair in it's most everday natural state.  If your hair isn't ready for a dry cut, then we may have to reschedule or a wash style may be added on to your service for an additional charge. If you are unsure please reach out by text at 405-928-8440. If you get a razor cut, we will pre-wet the hair.
    • Additional guests are welcome as long as they also attest to the health survey and studio conduct in this form, but please be mindful I only have one waiting chair and it is a small space. 
    • Green Hair Experience + Green Guiding appointments: optionally remember to bring your products in for a product audit!
    • 😷 Face masks are now optional in the salon. I have complimentary ones available if you would like one! You will frequently see me with one throughout the year given exposures and my own risk factors.

    What is the location?

    My private studio address is 1201 Cherry Stone St, Norman OK 73072
    It is the first house on the NW corner of Berry Rd and Cherry Stone St. Look for the large Berry Estates Brick sign out front. Depending on the season, you can also easily spot the house by my large unruly pollinator yard 🐝🌻

    • Park in the driveway or on the street infront, avoiding blocking other cars. If you rode your bike feel free to bring it onto the covered porch to park.
       


    • You will be coming to the rainbow 🏳️‍🌈 door on the right side of the covered porch when you walk up.
    • My studio is open by appointment only, please don't arrive early if at possible. If you would like to come in to the studio early please text me first at 405-928-8440 to see if the studio is ready for your custom experience.

     

    I sanitize my studio between appointments and then set up your experience, so you can relax and be comfortable as soon as you walk in.

    Payment methods, tipping?

    If you didn't pre-pay prior to your appointment through your appointment link...

    • In studio I am able to accept Credit/Debit, NFC tap, Venmo, & Cashapp or by your card on file. 

    • Cash is always accepted and very appreciated due to no processing fees - however I do not keep change on hand so exact amounts only

    • 100% of Tips go to my mutual aid Karma Cuts fund, which help provide haircuts on a sliding scale to those who due to many circumstances aren't able to afford a haircut. This program is open to the community and anyone is welcome to apply. 
    • So tipping = paying it forward. This is NEVER required or expected. Just available to those who feel called to, feel free to skip it on the payment screen.

    Cancellation + Reschedule Policy: I ask that you give me 24 hours or more notice of any cancellations or reschedules. Appointments canceled within 24 hours of an appointment will forfeit their booking deposit. While we are still in a state of heightened virus spread, my 24 hour cancellation policy is waived in the event of illness of you or anyone in your household. I want you and your family to be healthy and safe and your respect for protecting my health means the world as well. In the event of illness your booking deposit will be applied to your rescheduled appointment. Abuse of the cancellation waiver will result in having to pre-pay for all future appointments. No notice/no show appointments will incur a 100% appointment fee. Late Policy: I understand that life happens and things can be out of our control while we are trying our best to run on time in this busy world. However to respect your and others time to provide the best experience possible if you are running more than 15 minutes late your appointment may have to be rescheduled or adjustment to your services made. Payment Policy: 100% of service cost is due at the time of service. A 20% booking deposit is required at time of scheduling, by paying this you also agree to have your payment information securely saved by Square. You may prepay for any appointment or pay the rest of your service cost in person by credit card, venmo or cashapp. Cash is accepted but no change is available. Service Adjustment Policy: Your satisfaction is the highest priority. If you are not completely content, please let me know during your service or within 14 days after your service has been performed.  I am committed to making any needed corrections, as long as it falls in the services discussed and agreed upon during the consultation. Please take advantage of my complimentary fine tuning service for minor adjustments and concerns. Product Return Policy: A very lightly used product may be returned within 60 days of purchase if it is not the right fit for your needs. In the case of product manufacturing error (broken dispenser, product seperation, etc) please reach out within a week of purchase to exchange. Studio Conduct: This is a space where Discriminatory/Derogatory statements and actions are prohibited and will not be tolerated. I have the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service. Confidentiality and Privacy: Every client has the right to privacy and confidentiality. Client information and email lists are confidential and will not be sold or shared with outside companies.
