Stylist Assistant/ Apprentice Expectations
Overview
The Coordinator of First Impressions Salon Concierge role serves as the first in person point of
contact for Salon.
What separates a concierge from a typical receptionist is the
emphasis on exceptional customer service & enhancing the guest experience.
A concierge initiates a professional beauty salon experience by orchestrating smooth communication between clients, stylists, and salon employees.
This is accomplished through set salon processes involving receptionists responsibilities, processing payments, scheduling, consistent
salon maintenance, demonstrating product knowledge, ensuring stylists have all necessary supporting materials, and maintaining satisfaction from start to finish.
This role excels in a fast paced environment, can smoothly transition between tasks, and is comfortable discussing financial information.
This role requires initiative, creativity, problem solving and organizational skills. Key components to maintaining operations at the Gentry salon are flexibility, the understanding of time management, & dedication to upholding our mission.

Role Responsibilities

● Opening & closing duties
● Greet every client upon arrival & thank them when they leave
● Check in & out guests
● Serve guests (beverages, available snacks, order food, etc.)
● Sell products & promote services
● Manage & organize front desk
● Answer phones & check messages
● Respond to client messages
● Record activities in daily log
● Set the vibe (manage music & adjust temperature accordingly)
● Book & confirm appointments
● Check emails & follow up on new client inquires/consults
● Manage product representatives & contact information
● Collect & maintain updated client information
● Upkeep service menu & product pricing
● Restock & replenish shelves
● Keep product inventory
● Process shipments
● Assist with retail orders
● Take pictures
● Assist with social media & branding tasks
● Arrange transportation services
● Run errands
