2024 Summer Registration

A wonderful summer time begins with us...
-Summer Camp will run from June 10, 2024 - August 21, 2024

-Extented Summer Camp is availiable from 8/22/2024-8/30/24

-Camp hours are from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm

-Campers must be aged 3.5 and up to 5th grade.

-Each weekly session is $490.00.

-Camp fees must be paid in full upon registration.

-Cancellations must be made before the start of summer camp. If you need to cancel after camp has started, a fee will be applied ($180) for each cancelled week.

-If your child is out due to COVID, we can offer credit towards a new week, but we will not offer camp fee refunds.

-Daily drop-ins will not be accepted.

-Hot Lunch is offered this summer, $8/day.

-15% off for Hanlin/Steamworks Registered Students(4 Session or more)

Craft Explore Session 1: 6/10-6/14$490.00
Campers will learn the essential linguistic skills necessary for understanding Chinese culture. The students will have a wonderful time learning about Chinese Culture and History through Chinese Arts and Crafts.

Clay Session 2: 6/17-6/21$490.00
Campers will learn how to make various life-like figures using clay. Clay projects will include making Dragons/Bears/Cows/Snails/Vases. The students will have an amazing experience making fun and creative projects.

Painting Session 3: 6/24-6/28$490.00
Campers will have a chance to create great painting projects such as Bamboos/Pandas/Paws/Shrimps/Fish/Blossom Trees. Students will learn the Basic Knowledge of Chinese traditional painting and colors.

Cooking Session 4: 7/1-7/5 (no school on July 4th)$400.00
Our Sensational Session! Students will be given a hands on experience to learn how to cook simple traditional Chinese food! They will enjoy and taste their wonderful food they have made! Yum!

Sports Session 5: 7/8-7/12$490.00
It is not just mastering a single sport, but rather an opportunity to explore different sports and being active with friends. Everyday, our campers can learn a new sport through the guidance of professional coaches. Campers will explore basketball, volleyball, soccer and more...

Fashion Design Session 6 7/15-7/19$490.00
This week is focused on sewing clothing that children can wear as well as creating craft and jewelry projects. We will introduce children to a variety of Fashion Design Concepts including different sewing techniques, basic pattern manipulation, fashion illustrations, draping, design, quilting, and jewelry making. All of this will be possible as they meet new friends here at camp!

Adventure Session 7 7/22-7/26$490.00
Campers will meet live animals, perform fun experiments, build leadership and critical thinking skills.They will have many adventures in nature with peers and instructors. We get to explore nature animals with our fun instructor! We play games and tell stories to bring unseen parts of our urban habitat to life with our campers.

Coding&Game Making Session 8: 7/29-8/02$520.00
Most popular summer camp are still the perfect place for kids. Students get to explore STEM topics. Our tech courses are designed with 21st-century skills in mind-with a focus on teaching creativity, collaboration, and logical-thinking skills to all ages!

LEGO Robotics & Game Coding Session 9: 8/5-8/9$520.00
Get ready for fast-paced robot action! Campers will build and program LEGO EV3 robots to perform tasks such as arena wrestling, ball launching, flag capture and friendly soccer! You’ll learn to program motors and sensors and complete the missions. Campers will designing a variety of robot and drone-themed games, using code blocks to maneuver craft, fight off waves of alien bots, and more!

Gardening Session 10 8/12-8/16$490.00
Children will be allowed to explore their love for nature and get their hands dirty! We will be planting seeds, designing flowerpots, and doing floral arrangements. Visits to the local flower shop will be included. Excellent for children with interest in science.

Music extended Session 11: 8/19-8/23$490.00
In this session, the teacher will teach the students Chinese instruments. Projects include learning Chinese Guzheng/Chinese Erhu/Pipa. These creative projects will enhance the students' knowledge of Chinese Traditional Music instruments.

Drawing extended Session 12: 8/26-8/30$490.00
Let's embark on an art adventure! This week, campers will be encouraged to try to try new art forms as they create their own paintings, piece togethermosaics and dip into self expression as they get to know some of theamazing artists of our time. Campers will learn the different art mediumsof water color, pencil sketching, and Chinese painting.

Our full day camp has been designed with enrichment activities to keep our children engaged. Activities will include arts and crafts, playtime, story time, etc.

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by Hanlin Foundation during the selected camp.
