Client Agreement
I give permission for my pet/s to be housed in shared accommodation for the purpose of interactive
play/socialising with other housed pets onsite.
If my pet damages any property or items during their stay, I will cover the cost of replacement within 30
days of the damage notification (teddies and play toys are not included).
If my pet causes/ is responsible for any physical damage or injuries to another dog, I will cover all related
veterinary costs relating to the incident.
If a member of the BALANCED PAWS team is injured when playing with my pet, BALANCED PAWS does
not hold me responsible for the injury and I will not incur any medical costs for the team member’s needs.
I agree to keep my dog up to date with all vaccinations, worm treatment and flea treatment to ensure the
safety of my pet and all other visitors to the BALANCED PAWS facilities.
I agree to pay BALANCED PAWS in full by the last working day of the week, or on a visit by visit basis.
I understand that cancellation fees apply if I do not notify BALANCED PAWS of any changes within 48
hours of the appointment
BALANCED PAWS will immediately notify owners of any illness or injuries pertaining to their pets in our
care. We will seek verbal approval to take your pet to the vets (if you are unable to collect them during the
day). In the event that a verbal confirmation is not possible in a timely manner, we will attempt to contact
your nominated Next of Kin for your pets and if still unsuccessful we will then take your pet to the vets to
seek medical attention. If the injury is perceived to be life threatening, we will go straight to the vets and
our team will call you as we are in transit.
If my pet becomes ill or injured during its time with BALANCED PAWS, I give permission for my pet to be
taken to the vets and I will fully reimburse BALANCED PAWS for any vet charges and transport fees.
We will attempt to get your pet seen at your preferred vets as a priority, however if there is an
excessive waiting time or no availability, we will contact our preferred vets Gippsland Veterinary
Hospital - Sale.
If you have specifically noted that we are not to use a certain vet, we will not go to this establishment.
If a large cost is anticipated, we will once again attempt to contact you with the quoted price before
agreeing for the procedure to take place, however in an emergency, unless otherwise stated by the
owner, we will allow the procedure to go ahead.
