Open Studios wants to know more about you. All the juicy creative bits. These are not used to assess your application, however may be used on your artist profile page online, so that studio visitors can start to get to know you a little more, before they meet you! It is a creative artist profile of sorts.

• What inspires you as an artist? 
• Which artist are you most intrigued by / obsessed with? And why? (This could be a famous painter, an architect, a gardener, a musician, a writer, a parent, a friend, a lover, or somebody you haven't even met yet .
• Your favourite book: 
• What part of your practice is the most rewarding for you? 
• What are you obsessed with at the moment? (an idea / tv show / person / process / website / feeling) 
• What is something that most people coming to your studio might not know about you or your practice?

Please provide an indication of any networks and avenues you have access to, in order to help promote the project.  You may be involved in local community groups, artists circles, retail spaces, etc.  Or you may have connections and opportunities with the wider Victorian/Melbourne Creative Industry.  This information if not for publication, but for information purposes only. (150 words maximum)

If you are planning a special event during Open Studios, please include the details here. Events are optional and are designed to provide the visitors with an experience that is either time specific, (E.g. Removing ceramics from kiln once the firing and cooling process is complete) or experience something a little extra ordinary. (E.g. Concert or performance)

Only one event per studio, per day is permitted and inclusion of the event as a listing on the guide and website will be up to coordinators discretion.

Please provide between 6 and 12 images with your application. A minimum of 2 images should provide a clear representation of your working studio space, with the rest providing a good overview of your artwork. If you use different mediums and techniques, please provide a representation of each style.

All digital image files should be labelled in the following manner: surname_name_no.jpg

You are encouraged to use Dropbox.com to supply images, however images submitted via USB or a single PDF document will also be accepted.
