MTA Scholarship Application Form

MTA will award two $500 scholarships to a deserving high-school senior who intends to pursue a degree in theatre (performance, technical, or design) at a Mississippi college or university. The award will be made during the MTA Festival.

The one-time $500 scholarship will be paid directly to the college or university upon receipt of the student’s student identification number.

Scholarship recipients are required to take courses (major or minor) in a theatre-related program at a Mississippi college or university and scholarship recipients are required to participate in the MTA Dream Team during their first year of college.

To fully apply for the scholarship participants MUST audition for the scholarship during the MTA Statewide Theatre Festival held in January. The auditions will be in conjunction with the College & University Auditions held Thursday evening.
