2026 Scholarship Application Form

Application Deadline - August 6, 2026
It is the desire of the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo Association to make available up to $6,000 awarded to Carbondale Wild West Rodeo Association contestants or volunteers who are actively enrolled in college or a trade school.

Value: Up to $6,000.00 for the academic year of 2026-2027

Deadline: August 6, 2026

Notification: Finals Rodeo, August 20th, 2026

Read and follow the instructions carefully prior to submitting your application. All recipients will be notified at the Finals Rodeo, August 20, 2026.
Eligibility:

1. A contestant or volunteer who has participated or volunteered in a minimum of nine (9) rodeos during the 2026 Carbondale Wild West Rodeo season.

2. A contestant or volunteer who has been accepted into an accredited
education program or enrolled in an accredited trade school
program.

Award Selection Process: The selection Committee will consider the applicant's:
- Resume
- (2) Letters of Recommendation (not from a family member)
- Applicant's Personal Statement
- Interview (if determined necessary by the Committee)
